Where to ask about a rehearsal or a parcel
For anything about an order, a rehearsal or a parcel, use the online service inside your Hipobuy account, or email [email protected], the address Hipobuy's Rehearsal Parcel guides give. [email protected] is for business enquiries only. Hipobuy does not publish customer service hours; its buyers place orders between 9 am and 6 pm Beijing time (UTC+8).
For mistakes on these pages, write to [email protected]. Nobody here has access to Hipobuy accounts or orders, but a figure that is wrong or out of date will be corrected.
Glossary of weigh-in words
- First weight
- The minimum block a line charges for; Hipobuy's estimator calls it the 1st Weight Unit.
- Step
- Each further block after the first weight: 50, 100, 500 or 1,000 g in the snapshot. Hipobuy's FAQ calls it an additional-weight increment.
- Estimated billing weight
- The weight the submit page charges you for, built from inbound weights plus packing.
- Actual billing weight
- The packed parcel's weight, or its volumetric weight if higher, as measured by the warehouse.
- Dead band
- This site's name for the gap between the estimate and one step below it, where an over-estimate is not refunded under the FAQ wording.
- QC
- Quality check: the warehouse inspection of quantity, colour and size, with regular photos.
- GL and RL
- Community shorthand for deciding to keep an item after QC (green light) or to return or exchange it (red light). Hipobuy's own pages do not use these terms.
Frequently asked questions about rehearsals
The questions below come up whenever a rehearsal is on the table. Each answer points to the Hipobuy page or the part of this site that backs it.
Is the Rehearsal Parcel fee refundable
Hipobuy's pages do not say. The release notice lists easy cancellation as a benefit without explaining it, and one desktop screenshot shows a rehearsal marked Canceled. Ask [email protected] before relying on a refund.
Can I rehearse the same items twice
Yes. Hipobuy's guides say that if you do not want to ship on the result you can pick the items again and book another rehearsal. The fee is described as fixed per Rehearsal Parcel, so expect each rehearsal to be charged.
Does a rehearsal change the price of the line
No. The line's price per step stays the same; the rehearsal only replaces the estimated weight with a measured one before you pay.
Why was my refund smaller than the weight difference suggests
Lines charge in whole steps, so a difference of 180 g on a 100 g line is one or two steps depending on where the weights fall. Under the FAQ wording, a difference of one step or less is not refunded at all.
Where does a shipping refund go
To your Hipobuy balance, within 72 hours after the parcel ships according to the FAQ. You can spend it or ask for a withdrawal, which goes back to the original top-up channel first.
Does a rehearsal pause my free storage
No page says it does. The 90 free storage days count from the Warehoused status, and a rehearsal usually takes a day, so leave a margin when the deadline is close.
Can I rehearse items that have not reached the warehouse yet
No. The guides start from the Warehouse page, where only items that have arrived and been stored can be selected.
Is a rehearsal worth it for a single pair of shoes
Usually not on a 100 g line, where one step costs less than 20 CNY. It can be on a 500 g or 1,000 g line when the estimate sits just above a step boundary. The break-even tool checks your case.
Official notices and the current promotion
Hipobuy's notices worth knowing for a weigh-in: the August 2025 release of the Rehearsal Parcel as a new feature (release notice); a peak-season notice warning of flight shortages, port congestion and slower processing (peak-season notice); and a warehouse equipment upgrade expected to slow processing for about 24 hours (upgrade notice).
A banner advertising a shipping coupon sat on the estimator page on 16 October 2026. Coupons lower the price of a step and so lower what a rehearsal can save; check the coupon terms before you run the break-even sums. Promotions change weekly, so this note is due for review by 23 October 2026.
Community channels Hipobuy lists
Hipobuy's site settings list a Reddit community, r/Hipobuy_, and its latest banner carries a Discord invite. Both are buyer spaces: useful for seeing how others read the same rules, not a source of Hipobuy policy. Posts about rehearsal results can be a good sanity check on how far estimates drift for items like yours.
This site does not quote community posts as evidence and does not count members. When a post and a Hipobuy page disagree, the page is what Hipobuy will apply.
Updates and change log
Last updated 16 October 2026. The site was built locally on that date from 36 estimator queries and Hipobuy's help pages read the same day.
Planned checks: line prices within 14 days (by 30 October 2026), promotions within 7 days, and operator names within 60 days. The one change this site watches most closely is whether Hipobuy aligns its three wordings of the shipping refund; if it does, the break-even tool will follow.
